The eliteCLEAR Quad Cartridge Filter features four internal filter cartridges that provide a larger filtration area compared to a single cartridge design. This helps capture more dirt and debris, supports consistent water flow, and can reduce how often the filter requires cleaning.

Does this filter require backwashing?

No. The eliteCLEAR Quad Cartridge Filter does not require backwashing, which helps simplify maintenance.

How often do I need to maintain or clean the filter?

eThe filter should be cleaned when the pressure gauge indicates it's time. The pressure gauge includes Clean; and Dirty markers, making it easy to see when maintenance is required. It‘s recommended to clean the filter once the pressure has increased by approximately 70 kPa above the clean starting pressure.

Regularly checking the pressure gauge is the easiest way to ensure your filter continues to operate efficiently and maintain optimal water quality.

Is this filter suitable for new pool installations and upgrades?

Yes. It can be used for both new pool setups and as a replacement or upgrade for existing systems.

Is it difficult to install or use?
