Madimack hot water solution - ResiSTEAM - is a modern demonstration of heat pump hot water systems.  Engineered with premium hardware and software, the system maximises a household's production of efficient hot water, all day everyday.

A stand-out feature of the system is its PV Smart Mode which allows the unit to integrate and prioritise the production of hot water when paired with a home's solar PV panels.  Creating & storing hot water for free!

ResiSTEAM prioritises the generation of efficient hot water by allowing the system to produce and store hot water during peak solar production times (10am-2pm), so that it's ready for use when your household most needs it - in other words, heating your water for free!  This unique function transforms 300L of hot water into an almost endless supply of hot water - without increasing utility costs.

ResiSTEAM is intelligent, efficient and built to last. The PV-Smart Integration can be set to any one of three modes for compatibility with your hot water needs:

  • Combined Mode

Small-scale Technology Certificate (STC)

Air-Source Heat Pump Hot Water Systems are now listed under the Federal Government's Renewable Energy banner. As such, householder who replace non-renewable hot water systems (gas, electric) with an approved renewable systems (such as Madimack's Hot Water Heat Pump) are entitled to claim STC rebates (small-scale technology certificates) to lower costs.

A STC represents one megawatt hour (MWh) of electricity generated or displaced by an air-sourced heat pump. Based on the area you reside, the time your install and the value of electricity at the time, you are entitled to claim a rebate from the government.

The process to claim your STCs varies, however usually the installer will work with a registered agent on the home-owner’s behalf and provide the STC value as discount at the time of installation.
