Steps:

- Verify correct voltage: Ensure that the pump is receiving the correct voltage as specified by the manufacturer. Voltage that is too high or too low can cause the motor to overheat. Consult a professional electrician if necessary.
- Clean the motor and fan: Dirt or debris accumulation on the motor or fan can hinder proper cooling and lead to overheating. Carefully clean these components using a soft brush or compressed air.
